Abrol (Ambroxol) Tablets 30 mg, 20 Tablets

Composition

  • Each tablet contains 30 mg. of ambroxol hydrochloride.
  • Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, and colloidal silicon dioxide.

Indications

Abrol tablets are indicated for the treatment of:

  • Acute and chronic bronchitis
  • Tracheobronchial diseases associated with increased or viscous mucus production
  • Supportive therapy in respiratory diseases with impaired mucus clearance

Dosage and Administration

The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years is 1 tablet 3 times a day.

The tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water, with or without food.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to ambroxol or any of the excipients

Precautions and Warnings

Caution is advised in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.

Adverse Reactions
