Description
Abrol (Ambroxol) Tablets 30 mg, 20 Tablets
Composition
- Each tablet contains 30 mg. of ambroxol hydrochloride.
- Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, and colloidal silicon dioxide.
Indications
Abrol tablets are indicated for the treatment of:
- Acute and chronic bronchitis
- Tracheobronchial diseases associated with increased or viscous mucus production
- Supportive therapy in respiratory diseases with impaired mucus clearance
Dosage and Administration
The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years is 1 tablet 3 times a day.
The tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water, with or without food.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to ambroxol or any of the excipients
Precautions and Warnings
Caution is advised in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
Adverse Reactions
The most common adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Storage
Store at 15-25°C, in the original package to protect from light and moisture.
Keep out of the reach of children.
