Acnestop is a topical cream containing 20% azelaic acid, which is used for the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris. Azelaic acid has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and comedolytic properties that help to reduce acne lesions and prevent new ones from forming.
Dosage and Administration
The recommended dosage of Acnestop cream is to apply a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin once or twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare provider.
Application Instructions
1. Wash the affected skin area with a gentle cleanser and pat dry. 2. Squeeze a small amount of Acnestop cream onto your fingertips. 3. Apply a thin, even layer of the cream to the entire affected area, covering all acne lesions. 4. Gently massage the cream into the skin until it is fully absorbed. 5. Wash your hands after applying the cream to avoid transferring it to other areas.
Precautions
– Acnestop may cause stinging, burning, or redness upon initial use. This is usually temporary and should subside with continued use. – Avoid use on broken or sensitive skin. – Discontinue use and contact your healthcare provider if severe irritation occurs. – Acnestop may increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight. Use sun protection when going outdoors.
Storage
Store Acnestop cream at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). Protect the tube from light.
